Liverpool light-heavyweight Tony Bellew has been backed by Ricky Hatton for success.
Hatton – now a successful promoter – says Commonwealth champion Bellew (15-0) has the tools to go far in boxing.
To record an eighth round stoppage win,'the bomber’ recovered from two knockdowns in his last fight against Ovill McKenzie.
"Tony is a lovely kid who is showing plenty of promise," said Hatton.
