Former two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton has revealed that he wants to turns back to the ring as a trainer and could apply for his licenses.

The Hitman, who officially announced his retirement from the ring in July, as promoter he has already has a successful life, helping to secure major titles for some of Manchester’s best fighters – but has always made it clear that he felt more at home than it is in the gym.
Hatton wants to experience again the wonderful nights, but this time around the corner.
The Manchester man already has a state-of-the-art gym in Denton and only needs the go-ahead from the British Boxing Board of Control to get going.
Hatton told the Manchester Evening News, ‘I’d like to be a trainer. I’ve got Hatton Promotions and a great staff working for me. Where we’ve come from as a promotional company is a credit to me and the people who work for me.
‘I want to bring fighters through and champions through,’ revealed both the welterweight and light welterweight champion Hatton at the world in 2010, being named to this year's European promoter before.
