Denton Vassell’s showdown against Bethuel Ushona this year is being predicted by boxer Ricky Hatton.
The unbeaten pair clash at Wigan’s Robin Park Sports Centre on March 26, with Mancunian Vassell risking his Commonwealth welterweight crown.
Hatton, who takes a desperate interest in Vassell’s training under Bob Shannon, said: “This will not be a fight for the faint-hearted.
“I have taken a look at a tape of Ushona and he really comes to fight, and with Denton having a similar style to Mike Tyson, fireworks are guaranteed. It goes without saying that I believe Denton wins the fight, but he will have to come through some rough patches for sure.”

Hatton - Khan can rule the world
Since losing to current No 1 Manny Pacquiao in May 2009,Ricky Hatton has not fought , is backing Amir Khan in the WBA world champion's clash with Paul McCloskey.
He believes that Khan has the quality to rule the world and skills to succeed him as Britain's favourite boxer.
He forces the fan of Amir Khan to come and support him against Paul at the MEN Arena.ecause he believes it will be a homecoming to remember.
"It would be nice for people to say I was there, I bought a ticket," he told Sky Sports News HD.
"(Floyd) Mayweather and (Manny) Pacquiao aren't going to be there forever and when they pass the torch on, who better to take that pound-for-pound number one spot than Amir Khan?
"I had a lot of wonderful nights at the MEN Arena and Amir Khan is the new kid on the block.
"He's wonderful, he's a nice kid, he's just come off the Fight of the Year and it's nice for British fans to see him come back to Britain and show them what he's learned."
